What you need to know
1.The Third Global Game Art Contest (aka GGAC) is oriented towards all global artists and accept enrolment publicly. Every single artist is able to enroll in GGAC for free.
2.Originality and integrity of all GGAC participants’ artworks need to be guaranteed. Offending others’ copyrights, patent rights, trade mark rights, portraiture rights, private rights and other legal rights are not permitted. Copying and embezzling others’ artworks, transferring copyrights to others, making commercial uses and authorizing others to use are all prohibited.
3.For this year, GGAC is divided into 2 Groups: Professional and Student, please make sure to choose your consistent groups when you are enrolling. (View definitions of Professional/Student Groups)
a) Professional: Non-student practitioners and lovers from related Game, Animate, Film&TV Industries.
b) b)Student: Current Students and Fresh Graduates of Full-time College/Bachelor/Master authenticated by Ministry of Education.
c) Mentor: Mentors of students who enroll in Student Group and they will have a chance to win Excellent Mentor Honor.
4.For this year, GGAC has three Categories , 2D Art, 3D Model and Animation. Each Category has types in Professional Group, and Student Group has no types.
a) 2D Art (Professional): Character Design, Environment Design, Keyframe Design, Anime Illustration.
b) 3D Model (Professional): Character Art（Real-time&Rendered）, Environmental Art.
c) ANI Anime (Professional): Single Character Show Animation, Multi-Characters Fight Animation
5.Creating and submission rules of creation Categories and Types can be consulted in Category/Category Topic.
6.Each participant is able to participate into multiple types of creation (or Categories). However, each participant can only submit one artwork for each type as final evaluative submission. Submissions are key units for the results, which means one participant can have multiple prizes of creation types (or Categories).
7. Submitted Artworks must include GGAC Logo Pattern

），Logo Pattern need to be clearly presented as part of the elements, located in any part of the artwork, such as skins, clothes, items etc.
8.To keep the contest fair and equitable, after nominees being published, GGAC Official will review participants’ personal information and the source file of artworks, in order to make sure artwork is created by participants on their own. Please prepare to finish your real-name authentication, keep and save your source file of your work.
9.For this year, GGAC final submission is due to 23:59, October 7th, 2019.
10.Participants must agree and follow GGAC rules and regulations, GGAC organizing committee does have rights to remove artworks and disqualify participants that offend rules and regulations.
11.GGAC organizing committee have the final interpretation of all GGAC rules and regulations.
1.All entries submitted by participants of the Third Global Game Art Contest (aka GGAC) need to have independent and complete copyright, to allow participants submit artworks and compete for awards with their own title.
2.All entries submitted by participants of the Third GGAC, authorize GGAC Organizing Committee (and its correlated company) to have rights of using submitted artworks for contest promotion or exhibitions, media or medium publicity etc. If GGAC organizing committee has demands, participants need to promise to provide authorized documents.
3.Outstanding Awards, Popularity Awards, Gold Awards, Silver Awards, Bronze Awards, Excellence Awards of The Third GGAC will transfer their complete copyrights to GGAC Organizing Committee (and its correlated company).
4.GGAC Organizing Committee (and its correlated company) is entitle to have proprietary rights that copyright owner should have including copy, publish, display, network information transmission, right of complication etc. Artist must not reauthorize these to other individuals or organizations. Artists retain the permanent right of authorship.
5.Copyrights of artworks won Shortlisted Award in the Third GGAC are still owned by original artists, GGAC Organizing Committee have use rights of these artworks.
6.For copyrights of non-prized artworks, they are still belong to original artists. If GGAC Organizing Committee (and its correlated company) have requirement of developing, producing, selling, and other business uses, they need to get written permission from original artists, consult with original artist and make payments.
7.All amounts of prizes GGAC has presented are pretax, after artworks being awarded, contest host will deduct and pay for personal income tax for the prize-winning artists. If GGAC Organizing Committee (and its correlated company) require to make further improvements or developments, derivative product designing, prize-winning artists need to co-operate.
